PRAYER LIST February 17, 2009

Mimi received word today Dorothy passed away yesterday. Ralph may want a memorial service here sometime next month. For those of you who may not know them, Ralph and Dorothy lived here for a number of years and were both members of the choir. Dorothy also played the piano and organ on occasion. They moved last year to Illinois with their daughter due to Dorothy's failing health. I am sure Ralph and the family would appreciate hearing from you. Their mailing address is 4470 East Dundas Lane, Dundas, IL 62425-2500. Please keep all of them in your prayers.

Please keep Ethan Rotz and his mother, Alison, in your prayers. Ethan is in kindergarten and will be having outpatient surgery this coming Wed. to take his adenoids out. He has been having a rough time with sinus problems. Alison thanks you for your prayers for both of them.

Kaye Holcomb is asking to please spread the word asking for prayer for her daughter, Laura, who is seriously ill. Before the complications from her surgery several weeks ago can be addressed, her blood needs to be built up and doctors are having a difficult time stabilizing her blood. Laura is Dr. Layman's daughter-in-law and she has a daughter about 6 or so. She is in St. Francis Hospital. Thank you for asking others to keep Laura and her family in prayer.

Please continue to keep the following in your prayers:
- Ross Seavy, Jack's brother, is slowly recuperating from major lung surgery
- H.D. Hammond continues to slowly recuperate from his surgery
- Vera Lilly is at Healthsouth Rehab in Petersburg
- Dottie Williams, Polly Smith, Mary Bailey and Charlie Myers are all in Hopewell Health Care Center
- young Ethan Rotz will be having outpatient surgery Wed.
- Bill and Ellen Garvin will be moving back to their house this Wed. There are still obstacles to overcome, but at least they will be in their own home. They appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
